Jason’s journey in construction began with a hammer in hand—framing homes for a major development company early in his career. His passion for working with wood led him to study forestry at the University of New Hampshire, where he gained a foundational understanding of materials and sustainable practices before the program was discontinued. Over the years, Jason explored various aspects of the housing industry, including short-term rental management and high-end finishing work, where he served as a lead carpenter for a luxury contracting firm. Along the way, he forged strong relationships with other builders and tradesmen, learning the importance of teamwork, timing, and true craftsmanship. In 2024, he launched Madeira Custom Builders with a mission to blend precision, honesty, and aesthetic excellence. Today, Jason brings that same work ethic and attention to detail to every project—big or small.
